Impeccable pies are being celebrated here at The Lock Inn this March during British Pie Week. A foodie first for us we are showcasing the humble pie at its very best; full to the brim with variety, flavour and lots of fillings including our very own Bishop’s British beef as well as some tasty vegetarian, vegan & GF options. From the classic pork pie to luxurious venison you get to choose your filling, pick your pastry, add lashings of gravy and finally enjoy the foodie feast.

Fish Pie  £9.95: Fresh chunks of fish in a creamy white wine & dill sauce. Topped with cheesy mash with vegetables (GF)

Cottage Pie / Vegetarian Cottage Pie  £8.95: Our traditional household cottage pies using Bishop’s beef or a vegetarian option, served with mashed potato and cheddar cheese topping with seasonal vegetables and a pot of gravy (GF)

Shepherds’s Pie / Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie  £10.95: Local spring lamb mince cooked in a rich gravy with carrots, celery and onions. Topped with a minty mashed potato and cheddar cheese.   (GF) (V) (Vegan)
